@JontyEvans @statts1971 Haven’t seen the sending off you refer to, but it sounds like nonsense. The reason Sangares studs catch Gray is because he’s gone to ground behind the ball. Sangare simply kicks the ball as normal. Nothing to see at all here.

@GaribaldiNG2 @statts1971 Gray comes to an almost complete stop as he goes to ground. Sangare plays the ball, yes, but his follow through studs Gray on the leg in the exact same way as Romero on Casemiro at Utd when he got sent off.

Yeah, lets be clear, if Romero had done this then he's getting sent off. Sangare didn't even get a booking. Still 0-0 at this point and they go down to 10, different game.
We are crap but we are absolutely being refereed differently this season and it's disgraceful.

@statts1971 @JontyEvans Exactly how I see it. Gray has the weight of his bodies momentum behind his contact, Sangare merely uses the force of kicking a ball. I know which one causes more injuries. If anyone was going to get a caution it would have been Gray if his lead foot was a little higher.

@JontyEvans Genuine question as I’m intrigued and obviously see it differently. Sangare goes in controlled with one foot and clearly plays the ball with his foot almost in the ground. Gary slides in so obviously less control so clatters into Sangare hence the foul and contact between players

@FootballInT80s First half, 0-0 open play. Not late in the game chasing a goal, and not a free kick. Always struck me as absurd Cooper was so far forward. And just as absurd a CB has the composure to play that ball across into the danger area.
