@GabSutton That's oversimplified what happened though wasn't. A journalist / reporter should ask questions. But they should also listen and respond to that. Will Tuchel be either didn't listen, deliberately tried to bring bias in or put words in his mouth. With Jude he lied. Simple.

I believe the reaction to the whole England journalism stuff reflects a wider societal challenge we have, which is getting things in the middle. As human beings, we tend to overcorrect our mistakes. I think we're all acutely aware of the horrible treatment different players, managers and teams have got in the past, which was engineered by the press and they deserved a lot of criticism for that. But what that means is we're now hyper-sensitive to the media asking what I perceive to be valid, and fairly standard, questions. With that hyper-sensitivity, we're almost doing a disservice to the likes of Tuchel and Bellingham, and their agency as grown men who have chosen to represent our nation, to answer difficult questions as part of that agreement. Yes, you want the media to be on the side of the team, which I do think broadly they are, but it's also their job to be inquisitive, clear things up and attempt to find out what's really going on. Gabriel Clarke was within his rights to ask the tough questions. Thomas Tuchel handled them absolutely brilliantly. Jude Bellingham showed he's got an elite edge, and is not afraid to push back and challenge people in a healthy way. All three came out of it well for me: mountain out of a molehill.

@markpougatch Shame you endorsed @gabrielclarke05 interviews. Don't think anyone watching at home thought that at all. They were terrible, didn't listen to the responses then tried to create and argument with Jude md Tuchel. Shocking. Maybe he needed mentality or something else...

@itvfootball Your interviewer is awful. Doesn't listen, makes up stuff and tried to cause a rift between the manager and the player. Have a word.

@RupertLowe10 The real issue isn't the contract of £1.6bn. Asylum seekers aren't "illegal" for claiming UK law protects that right while cases are processed. The real debate: deterrence vs humane treatment (and whether the services are a human right or a luxury). #UKAsylum

I have been forensically digging through these asylum contracts, and one stands out to me. It is absolutely staggering. Please read on. £1,593,535,200 for 'Provision of Bridging Accommodation and Travel Services’ awarded to ‘Corporate Travel Management (North) Limited’. According to the official record, they’re based in Bradford… Let’s dive into it. It’s related to the Bibby Stockholm, housing illegal migrants on a barge off the coast of Dorset. Bradford is certainly a strange place to base such an enormous contract. What is all of that money, OUR money, being spent on? All this information is taken from official documents, labelled ‘sensitive’. The illegals must be provided with a ‘varied daily menu’, taking into account all religious needs. If the illegal arrives late and missed the evening meal? They must be provided with a ‘light snack’. What about cleaning? A ‘cleaning programme’ must be delivered to the standards set by the ‘British Institute of Cleaning Science’. Routine cleaning must be provided, and their cabins are cleaned on a ‘twice weekly basis’. A ‘house-keeping laundry service’ is included, with a maximum '48-hour turn around’' Information on the local area is provided - including amenities and facilities. Illegals are assisted to make contact with a local GP surgery and dentist - they are assisted to do this. The illegals are to be taken and returned from medical appointments. A ‘programme of organised recreational activities' are provided, seven days a week. Activities available ‘morning, after, and evening each day’. Full Wi-Fi coverage is required, with a bank of mobile phones available '24/7'. Transport requests will be taken at short notice, all day every day. The transport must be ‘punctual’. ‘Adequate transport links’ must be provided to assist the illegals into the local area - and booking of transport services must be delivered for those ‘who wish to travel beyond the local area’. Warnings against ‘unconscious bias’ are made, and it’s adamant that ‘the interests of the Service Users are best served.’ It goes on and on and on. Are you happy that your tax is being spent on these services for illegals? For transport? Recreational activities? Shipping them into local communities to roam the streets? One of these illegal migrants was sentenced for sexually assaulting a teenage girl on a beach. There will be many, many, many others. 'Corporate Travel Management (North) Limited', based in Bradford, received this astronomical contract. A strange company name for such a service. What was the procurement process? How was this decided? I have put these questions to the Home Office, and I am demanding answers. The Bradford firm was told on the 24th of February 2023 that they had been awarded this £1.5 billion contract, excluding VAT (with an extension option.) Who was the Home Secretary at this time? Reform’s Suella Braverman. Who was the immigration minister at this time? Reform’s Robert Jenrick. They were the ministers, they were responsible. I want to know exactly why these outrageous contracts were signed off. It is scandalous. SO much more information on these contracts is redacted. I am going to find it... We should not be caring for these illegals, we should not be housing them, we should not be accommodating them. We should be deporting them. On an industrial scale. They are treated better than British citizens. FAR better. It makes me sick. The amount of OUR money that has been spent on these third world criminals by politicians (Reform, Conservative and Labour) is the biggest scandal of our time.

Every asylum hotel could be closed quickly if Keir Starmer had the backbone to take difficult decisions. Only the @Conservatives have a serious plan to: - Leave the ECHR - Establish a third country deterrent like Rwanda - Create a Removals Force - Deport every illegal arrival within a week Only by having a real plan and the team to deliver that plan, will we ever get a grip on the immigration system and end asylum hotels once and for all.

You shouldn’t need a driveway to own an electric car. My Plan for Change is boosting funding for infrastructure to allow cables to run safely beneath pavements. That’s cheaper, at home charging – putting money back in the pockets of working people.

@trogdoormike @sibaburck So are you suggesting humans aren’t animals? Or that animals don’t feel joy, fear, or pain? Because if you truly believe prey animals thrive under predation and that empathy is irrelevant, then you're either trolling, a sociopath, or just lacking in intellectual rigour.

It’s wrong to kill them because they want to live. It’s really that simple. You either understand this or you don’t. It’s very difficult to be a vegan if you are selfish and lack empathy for others.

@randhellss63836 @juneslater17 @RachelMathewsUK Actually it takes 4 years, after which a petrol car is more polluting. But hey, why not ignore the reasearch and science. So petrols are only net better (igoring the impact on air quality) if EVs don't last longer than 4 years. If petrol lasts longer than 4 years it's worse.

@juneslater17 @RachelMathewsUK Every lithium battery that is in an electric car, will have produced more carbon emissions to ship and produce, than an average petrol car will in its lifetime, and lithium batteries in electric cars needs replacing every so often.

USEFUL FOR REFORM COUNCILLORS The extensive and accurate research from @RachelMathewsUK 1)A single lithium mine produces millions of tons of waste which includes sulphuric acid and uranium, which pollutes water supplies for 300 years. 2) The human suffering from Cobalt mines which use child slave labour is unacceptable 3) Most solar panels are made using captives held behind razor wire in labour camps being exposed to large quantities of quartz dust which causes silicosis . Please note :- The Ethical Consumer Organisation report that it is hard to source solar panels that have not been made by FORCED labour. Solar panels are also difficult to recycle the cost of which is more than the cost of production. 4) Wind turbine production uses a colossal amount of resources and energy to install and run, after 20 years their non biodegradable sails go into landfill creating future Problems. In use they need to be sprayed with antifreeze, and diesel to start them up. They take gallons of oil to run, let's not forget the blight and bird kill. 5) Lithium batteries also cause problems and again rely on slave Labour where life expectancy for workers is reduced considerably Solar farms and wind farms are not the ethical solution they are presented as. It's just very clever marketing from the immensely profitable $1.5 trillion dollar a year Climate industry. that's $4 billion dollars a day! Councils need to be vigilant and assess ALL aspects of the science presented to them, including the evidence that interrupt this highly profitable propaganda driven industry. It is negligent for any council to support any scheme that relies on slave Labour and in itself creates future risks. Whilst your intentions are well meaning Once you are aware of the harms, it is your duty to stop, and investigate . your own code of conduct has a duty to explore all areas and evidence, and not to blindly accept those presented to you by central government, which clearly is agenda driven which has blatantly ignored the human suffering involved in all of the above., yet created millionaires from tax payer subsidy businesses. We all want to do our our best for the planet and the people. This narrative is neither green or acceptable It's time to be rational.

@EssexPR Apparently restricting access to your biggest market doesn't drive any changes??? That and the fact that interest rate rises made borrowing more expensive couldn't possibly be the biggest driver of all this could it? Especially when you look at trends quarter on quarter.
