On December 26, 2025, GWC member Rosa was involved in a car accident while waiting at a bus stop. This accident caused serious physical injuries, emotional distress, and unexpected financial hardship. We are asking for the community's support to help raise funds to cover expenses

The city's legal counsel reported that it aims to put a sanctuary ordinance on the city council agenda for review as soon as the next city council public meeting in two weeks on March 11.
