Country Club of Little Rock - 1902 Keith Foster / Herman Hackbarth 🚨 Hidden Gem Alert! 🚨 You probably haven’t heard much about CCLR if outside Arkansas, but I’m here to tell you it’s one of the most unique and fun courses I’ve visited all year. Sitting on rolling hills overlooking the city, it’s truly a special piece of land. The fairways are constantly sloped and angled, testing your ability to adjust to various stances. The routing is genius, using the skyline views wonderfully. You get views of the city and of the natural scenery over and over. The land is quite extreme, it’s incredible such a good course was found here. The bunkering is unique and has a very cool aesthetic, Foster adding his trademark flair. The greens are gorgeous and the conditions are known as minty mint. As good as the course is, the people are better. Never felt more welcome at a club, with the locals hanging out and having drinks with us afterwards, treating us like welcome guests. If you get the invite, make the trip! It’s truly a special place.
