@JaredLankes I think he may be serviceable as a DH, not sure what contract he would fetch but I don’t think it would be a horrible move, still a lot of pop in his bat.

Castellanos regressed pretty hard at the plate too last year. He’s kinda meh now as a hitter too. People are imagining he’s some great hitter. He really isn’t. He was a negative WAR player last year because his bat didn’t carry his awful defense. You want him at 3B in Pittsburgh?

Additional tidbits now that I'm through security: *Obvious ramifications for Andrew McCutchen. Ozuna a full-time DH. *Pirates aren't done. Still looking to upgrade at 3B & add LH starting pitching. *Ozuna signing probably takes them out on Paredes.

I don’t expect the #Pirates to offer Framber Valdez what he’s searching for, but ironically, it’s probably the best fit.
PNC Park would favor Valdez extremely well, pairs a terrific, 1-2 punch with Paul Skenes, and reunites with pitching coach Bill Murphy, who he was just with.
