I've been lucky to have some good coaching eras as a sports fan between the 49ers, A's, and OSU football (Walsh, Tressel, Harbaugh, Meyer, etc)
But man, Thad had it humming at OSU, and it might have been my most fun time to be a fan.
Appreciate him and miss those days.

Absolute titan of agriculture and radio. As a kid growing up, my grandparents watched U.S. Farm Report every week. His voice made me want to get into radio. 60 years at the same station. Unbelievable. Sad to see the news of his passing.

Matt Majkrzak is a STAR. He's going to have the Huskies whipped into shape in no time. He'll be a guy on high-major radars in the coming years because of the success he'll have at NIU.

Northern Illinois is expected to hire Northern Michigan head coach Matt Majkrzak, source told @TheFieldOf68. Majkrzak, a former manager for Brian Wardle at Green Bay, led NMU to four straight conference titles and four straight NCAA tournaments, one of only three D-2 programs to do so. His team led the country in rebounding margin, offensive efficiency, and fewest turnovers per game.

@tcgobucks @JoshuaMorgret @OHSAASports @nwdabsports @NWDAB The MEDIA FEE (how much you have to pay to broadcast the game) is payable to the OHSAA. But the fee to use the internet and electricity is payable to BGSU. Which is what people are angry about.

For those talking about the media fee/internet fee at BGSU, this is on the media application form. Absolutely ridiculous. @OHSAASports, @nwdabsports, @NWDAB, please move away from BGSU hosting next year. Charging media just to work? That is awful.

Made it to Bowling Green. Jonathan Alder knocked out Van Wert 63-45 in the opener, Perkins takes on Lima Bath at about 8:30. The crowd is … well, it doesn’t exactly scream “regional.” The OHSAA could add a few more divisions and any gym in the state could host a Sweet 16 game!
