📄 Club Statement 👇 All associated with Ayr United are beyond disappointed with the events that led to today’s cancellation. On arriving at the ground it became clear that there was an area of the pitch that was frozen and would have never passed an inspection. This would have been clear to anyone who walked across it at any point on the day of the game. The fact this was not highlighted to us or the league this morning which resulted in our players, staff and fans travelling over 250 miles for a match that would never start is unacceptable. We can only apologise to our supporters who travelled and confirm that we will make representation to the SPFL to highlight our serious concerns. #WeAreUnited

Ayr United can confirm that, after 18 years service, Tracy McTrusty has made the decision to leave the club. Serving in a variety of roles from General Manager to Finance & HR Manager, Tracy’s service spanning nearly 2 decades is worthy of significant recognition. Chairman David Smith “On behalf of everyone at the football club we would like to say a huge thank you to Tracy for her loyalty and dedication over such a significant period of time. It has always been a pleasure to work with her since I’ve been involved with the club and her professionalism and efforts saw the club navigate a number of challenges over the years and helped put it on the footing we enjoy today. She will be missed around Somerset Park and we wish her every success in her future endeavours.” Tracy “After 18 unforgettable years, it’s time for me to say goodbye to Ayr United.
