@Se_Railway It's a shame you have frozen the piss poor service too. Where is the money that we pay as fares? Cos it sure as hell hasn't gone into infrastructure. Cos we are having the same problems now as we did in the 80's. Signal failure. Broken down trains. Etc,etc.

Any operator still run by a private company do so on a direct contract. This doesn't apply to South Eastern however,as South Eastern are nationalised. They are operated by the government via DfT.
