The Eviction Control Act, a Private Member's Bill the @NSNDP has presently before the House, would do just that – in part, by banning the eviction of lower-income seniors until there are places in seniors/public housing for them to go to. The Conservatives should pass it.

NDP MLAs marked Remembrance Day today at ceremonies in their communities.

The NDP is pushing for legislation to prevent Nova Scotia landlords from introducing no-pet policies as a way to circumvent the provincial rent cap. saltwire.com/halifax/news/n…
