Shocking news out of Gonzaga. Starting point guard Mario Saint-Supery is leaving to join Valencia of Liga ACB. Saint-Supery says farewell to Gonzaga in the Instagram post below. Zags are suddenly without a PG signed to the 2026-27 roster.

Xavier forward Filip Borovicanin has re-committed to the Musketeers for the 2026-27 season despite having the option to enter the transfer portal, his agent @DanielPoneman of WEAVE, told @On3. The 6-9 senior averaged 10.8 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game last season. Agree that the Pac NW is among the more underachieving "squares" relative to it's underlying geographic advantages but it's also quite remote. Also Seattle is like the most beautiful city in the world 30% of the time but one of the cloudiest places in the world the other 70%.

Spent a few days in Seattle and wondered: Why isn't this place New York City? Temperate weather (compared to the East), a big port, plentiful natural resources, big tech sector, etc. Seems the PNW should be a tier A global economic powerhouse.

Wrote an autopsy of Platner's campaign for @TheArgumentMag. Platner was already a liability for Democrats before the rape allegation, but polling shows that it wasn't because of the tattoo or Reddit. It was the infidelity.

So basically, this runs counter to the narrative all over social yesterday that the Big 12 "sold" jersey patch rights for all 16 schools for pennies on the dollar to Monster Energy.
No, it was a co-branding deal with the league - and netted an *additional* million per school, *in addition* to the school's own jersey patch deal.
