@ryantpugh @UKWX_ Hoping to get some gardening done?

@offgridstone I have an open mind about this so was pleased to see you having a go but when that bloke opened his mouth I couldn’t help but wonder if he was on crack! There’s a guy Chris Winters The Fertile Current) who is a farmer using it and seems to speak with knowledge.

@40PercentGerman Ha I knew what that word was without even looking it up. Same issues here, people are crazy about drafts, drives me mad we can’t have a door or window open in the middle of summer - ‘caurvēja’ that brings all sorts of evils in…
English

@offgridstone @YouTube My easiest way of debunking it is. If global warming and climate change is such a big issue why do the ultra wealthy still invest along the coast lines of the world?
English

I bought into the climate scam for many years. This is the video that totally woke me up to the outright lies and manipulation with the climate agenda.

@BadgerMash They say here the number of times the cuckoo calls is the number of years left to live. It’s looking positive so far :) on the call thing it sounds like a mash up with a magpie or jay.
English

@GaryDickenson In my childhood, there was a rhyme about cuckoos, of which I only remember the end, which went "...In June he changes his tune,. In July he's ready to fly." When we still had cuckoos, I never noticed any variation, but it must have been based on something.

Hello @NordVPN why does it cost twice as much to renew as it does for a new plan. When you reward my loyalty I’ll consider renewing.
English

@LoveGrowingVeg @SamczykMira Think I paid around that for 6mm panels
3m x 2.1m. Someone in America commented that the price would be twice as much over there.
English

@SamczykMira @GaryDickenson I got the 4mm standard greenhouse sized sheets from eBay at ebay.co.uk/itm/2838170322… cheapest I could find. Cheaper to buy these than larger size panels 🤪 mine cost around £400 (timber and sheets), used some of my own stuff and a bought one would be well over a grand
English

@LoveGrowingVeg Yeah sure, same ol. I built mine 3 years ago and documented it all on YT and updates of wins and failures, if I can be of any help then do let me know.
English

@GaryDickenson Thanks for info. I very much see this as work in progress. At the moment I’m just pleased I have a decent size greenhouse in an ideal position. Really want to investigate utilising solar to heat and ventilate in the future. For now I need to catch up on the garden tasks 😊
English

@LoveGrowingVeg Well it can be a work in progress, mine is. There is some balancing to do so if you do the side walls it will protect cold nights more effectively but then it will be hotter on the hot days so that needs solving, I have shade netting and this year will do better ventilating.
English

@GaryDickenson South facing yes 😆I did consider side walls and still might at a later stage. This was very much a rush job. I think with hindsight I should have insulated at least half of each side (with materials I already have) and with the money saved spent extra on better polycarbonate.
English

@AndyWoodturner Essentially. Anything you use once a year on show, everything else away. OK enough of the tool showmanship, I can not compete :)
