Graham Platner needs to quit this race now. And as a former chair of the DSCC, I agree no resources should be spent supporting a candidate credibly accused of a horrific crime. We need to hold our candidates to higher standards whether in Maine or Michigan.

This hateful attack is disturbing and unacceptable. Political violence and Islamophobia have no place in our state and we must all condemn it when we see it. I’m relieved no one was hurt during the incident.
