It was bad enough being told it was BOO-DICKER when we grew up with BOWDER-SEE-ERR but now we are being told by the BBC that her gang was the EYE-KEEN-EYE!!! I thought the organs of the establishment were managed by people with a decent classical education?

Corriedale. Bit of a curates egg. Lots of excitement and plot advancement. However, if like us you know nothing of Emmerdale then half of it was annoyingly opaque!

Phrases which illustrate the gulf between what TV chefs say - and what most of us - bound to the big supermarkets like slaves to a Galley - can do: “get your butcher to…”, ‘Higher welfare pancetta”, ‘Your fishmonger will tell you”. And don’t get me started on fennel pollen.

@Garywittering 😆 our local Butcher sells great turkey gravy at Christmas (no stress!) …. But wait for it….this year my son asked (and they are the hosts this year) …is it sacrosanct to have turkey ? 🙈

This is all I have achieved today. That’s the last time I make something from a famous chef’s get-ahead-Xmas collection. Took all morning and tastes like gerbil phlegm. It’s going in the freezer and they’d better pretend to like it or else.

@Graemethedean Saw it yesterday: fabulous bit of nonsense and great to see old haunts in Knaresborough&Wetherby on film. Go panto!

Our family of panto fans really enjoyed this! Proper laugh out loud moments and if you can forgive Rebel Wilson's Yorkshire accent and the fact that Maria Friedman's Fairy Godmother is criminally underused, it's a heart-warming addition to the Christmas Movie roster.

@Paulrickeard Eggs Ben and SALAD? Sort of thing you find on Hotel brunch menus in Surbiton. Get round to that nice chippy and fill up on chips, gravy, peas and sausage otherwise you might start feeling a bit faint. Or worse - start reading fliers for Vegan Sound-Bath emporia!
