The developers and contractors (tenderpreneurs) get guaranteed, risk-free government contracts funded entirely by your hijacked payslip. The system was never designed to house the poor; it was designed to funnel free citizen capital into the pockets of private cartels. We don't do political PR; we do the math.

The Mortgage Ledger: The houses are not being "given" to the homeless. They are being sold. The Hustler is required to take on a long-term mortgage to buy the unit. The state gets free, un-taxed capital from the salaried worker to build the house, and then acts as a predatory developer, charging the Hustler interest to buy it. It is mathematically a double charge.
