Yesterday, @gather4children and I visited Nsambya hospital St. Elizabeth surgery ward. There,we checked on Shakira and two other patients admitted . Shakira was involved in a tragic accident which crushed and broke off her leg on the scene , while the other was left broken and all skin ripped off as she tried to jump out of a passenger van for fear of being crushed by a Sino truck that had lost control and it’s ability to brake as they were ascending a hilly area in Masaka. Even through so much pain, Shakira is in very high spirits and positive that she will fully recover.
