I do. Teachers contributed to my campaign, volunteered, cheered me on, & still give me advice & encouragement to this day. Some I’ve met because their children go to charter or private schools (disproportionately so, as I’m sure you know). Many want zero to do w/ union politics.

No one wanted that corporate welfare so it was attached in a train bill to recess, teacher bonuses and making VAM optional; it wouldn’t have passed on its own.
