@FL_Coaches I have a serious and NOT ARGUMENTATIVE question! How can anything that you guys are doing force school districts and more importantly teachers unions to increase the salary of a “supplemented” position? This comes down to some counties are willing to find a way and some aren’t

We’ve been asked to compile a list of Head Football Coaches who have left FL to coach in another state in the last ten years. Name, school and school/position they left for - Hoping our followers can help… DM or comment please ✊

@FlaHSFootball @FHSAA What has happened is this proposal has been derived based on the 1a rural plan in many ways. Now those of us in 1a will be the collateral damage when we go back to districts and people will still manipulate the 600 number. The thought is great but will hurt many unintentionally

I try to avoid attacking coaches on social media, but some of u cats who are quoting Bible scriptures on Twitter in the morning and out recruiting other coaches' players in the afternoon are just asking for it.

@Beasley__F @CoachDNag @FlaHSFootball @john_p34 @VarsityBuddy And it is CERTAINLY not a private issue anymore. The public schools are WAY WORSE than the privates have ever been. I had to play the private schools for years to get to the championship and they never recruited or had transfers like these public schools today do.

@Beasley__F @CoachDNag @FlaHSFootball @john_p34 @VarsityBuddy Transfers are the issue. everyone wants to whine about people like madison county but they don’t say a word about the team in the last 2 state championships with 13 transfers. This proposal is a great start but we must force those schools with transfers to play others like them

@FlaHSFootball Very true but the entire reason for no districts was for the huge group that had left the FHSAA and gone independent due to not being able to compete on a level playing field. I have been on both sides of this and just know many , including us, will go back to independent.

@GatorsWewa Much respected opinion there and there are teams that can’t get games now under this as well because no one wants to schedule them. It’s a double edge sword.

@FlaHSFootball This needs to be vetted through more coaches than just fbac and adac. It will not be in favor of this change if the entire state is polled. This is a personal view by teams that have issues getting games. We did away with districts for a reason and that reason has not changed

Up next… item regarding bringing districts back in Class 1A-4A. This is something that is on a first read and only if Metro/Suburban does not pass by the board of directors. Big thing is though is that this would not go apply to the next cycle if Metro/Suburban doesn’t happen.

@PCNHDustinKent We are the poster for a transfer portal. Playing for state championships with 19 transfers. I don’t have 19 players!!! I am embarrassed at what we have become as far as transfers.
