Anyone who genuinely believes Michael Jackson did the things he was accused of, I recommend you go and read the court documents. Regardless of whether you trust the system, you'd be surprised at just how many "witness" testimonies were either completely fabricated, lacked substantial/accurate evidence, were committed by individuals with a history of fraud, or chose to withhold reporting alleged incidents to the authorities in favor of lucrative exclusive interviews. Wade Robson, the guy that made the 2019 Leaving Neverland documentary, is in those files with an insane amount evidence detailing just how deceitful all his "claims" were/are. The current abuse allegations by the Cascio's, coincidentally revealed during the biopic's opening weekend, are coming from a family who not only were some of Jackson's fiercest defenders during the 2005 trial, but were famously responsible for helping distribute fake unreleased MJ tracks, which led to a 2014 fraud lawsuit, that just concluded in 2022.

I don’t think people are understanding this headline - this is genuinely one of the coolest things I’ve seen a movie do. They hired an ACTUAL artist to PAINT a meme in the style of the ai ones to poke fun at them. Would’ve been so easy to ai generate something for the movie but they held themselves to a higher standard which I really really respect.

Parental “sacrifice” is just a myth. A child's wellbeing is actually a parent's responsibility and not a favour. Any sacrifice is yours to bear, not theirs to repay. Raise them fully cognizant of your challenges but know that it's duty, not charity.

veganism is not inherently a morally superior position. the vegetables and fruits you consume are also harvested via immense cruelty & exploitation, not to even mention indigenous practices or food deserts. if you care about animals, the position to take is anti-capitalism.

One thing I've learned in the last few years. Bail is for everybody: rapists, murderers, fraudgodmen, corrupt politicians, terrorists in actual blast cases. Just not for protestors who foolishly believed that the Constitution promised them rights and equality. No bail for them.

My take is that the goal of pushing age verification and imposing digital ID is to be able to do this to anyone in the future. If your ID is linked to your access to the Internet, your money, food, etc then criticizing people in power can lead to this access being taken away

in order to become a better person, you must first realize how horrible you really are. not in the dramatic sense, but in the quiet ways you sabotage yourself, repeat unhealthy patterns, hurt people who care about you, or tolerate what wounds you. you cannot grow if you keep pretending you're innocent in the story you created.
