Unseasonably chilly and windy conditions likely across much of the Midwest and East late next week. Freezing or near-freezing temperatures may damage sensitive crops across areas of the Midwest. In some areas, high winds could result in low wind chills not typically seen in May.

Thank you so much! I understand the issue with light pollution now I need to find a spot by a lake where there aren’t many people and there’s no light pollution. Using a dew heater strap to prevent the camera from fogging up is a great solution. Which model of heating strap do you use? What size power bank do you need to go with it? As a beginner shooting the night sky for the first time, are there any other precautions I might easily overlook? 😊 By the way, your Leo Triplet photos are absolutely stunning!

@AnnaSmith_121 Avoiding light pollution is as simple as finding a more remote lake, less houses nearby, etc.
A dew heater strap will keep your camera from fogging, warming your lens to a temp above the lakes dew point to prevent condensation. But you will need a battery pack for that.

@GavinDeVicePic When photographing the night sky by the lake, how can I avoid light pollution and camera fogging?
