@yamanakanobody Of course, that's exactly what I did with Initial D. Unfortunately, they took the anime off of all streaming services for absolutely no reason, though. I'd also love for Wangan Midnight (both the anime and manga) to actually be available here legally

@ARAARASHINIGAMI It's so frustrating seeing someone say "Just buy it, or wait for it to become available" when one of my favorite anime and manga, Wangan Midnight, never got official English translations (or even subtitles). It came out in 1990 (anime was 2007). We're not ever getting it legally

The reason why many Japanese don’t directly address the “why won’t you just sell me something so I don’t pirate” issue and only respond with “piracy is bad” is because they quietly want Japanese things to stay Japanese only. Japanese people, as a rule, are not direct in speech.

I couldn't get my hands on Initial D without pirating it. They finally made it available for me to legally purchase and what happened? Despite already having access to it through piracy, I gave the JP distributor my money anyway. Allow us to buy things and we gladly will

@excalipermx I’d say there are a great many hypocrites on both sides. A lot on the western side do indeed dress up their desire to have games for free with “it’s the company’s fault”.

I went to work for 6 hours and my Twitter feed switched from Americans and Japanese people getting along over fun things to Japanese people suddenly insulting us and comparing us to rapists for pirating media they won't even sell to us in the first place (we'd buy it if they did)

Some reasons why I think gamers are fed up and don’t wanna buy games anymore:
> $70 games
> 90% of games are unfinished at launch
> live-service games that get shut down within a year
> publishers want to make Fortnite money but just ruin their most popular franchises
> big franchises released some of their worst games, for example the worst CODs in history (MW3 + Blops 7)

@Visual_Salman Ay, I recognize that plugin, I use it a lot myself. I'm not sure how much of a car enthusiast you are, but I noticed the smoke behind the rear wheels implying it's drifting. I recommend turning the rear outwards a little more and having the front wheels continue going forward :)
