Real food is cheap. Eggs are $3 at my neighbor's front door. Venison is $30/tag for a whole deer. Lettuce grows on the windowsill for pennies. Rye berries are about $10 per bushel. Whole hogs $1/pound at the local farm. Learn the farmers name and how to process whole ingredients into real food.
