@ineedrtSTAT Handbook says the typical longer e time for CO2 elimination. I think I've only changed it once when we were out of options. The pt was dying, CO2 did go down, but it was futile by that point. Oscillators usually do well enough, so we never have to change it usually.

Anyone here ever used an oscillator with anything other than a 33% I time? If so, did it work? What was wrong with the patient? What was the reasoning?

@ineedrtSTAT No longer an RRT, but I standby that the AARC/NBRC were handled a golden opportunity to promote the profession during covid and squandered it completely. Reduced our career to a 5 minute how-to video that no doubt hurt people. They don't deserve a dollar.
