Kemi Badenoch is brilliant. It took a while to arrive at that conclusion, but she is without doubt the leader the country needs now. The worry is that people with scant knowledge of how politics works will divide the Right and perpetuate Labour.

@Petrie_JohnC She’s absolutely appalling. Has nothing constructive to say, her default demeanour is auto sneer. It wouldn’t be so bad if she actually had any salient view or policy, but she doesn’t. She’s not blunt or straight talking, she’s plain ignorant.

I would be interested in others views on Badenoch. When she speaks - and I listened to her on Kuenssberg this morning - I always feel she is aloof and talking down to people, very patronising. Have I got this right?
