@GbHtrain

In a world of chaos and tyranny, the Internet is my source of escape from the outside world. Seriously though, I just like seeing other people's work.

Today I've been working on my TVS map of the Island of Sodor. This is the rough draft that I made ben tracing outlines from David Mittons maps, in-show maps, and thw rws map to fill in gaps. What do you think so far?

Here is my model of NWR D2 BoCo. I picked up a Heljan Class 28 on offer, and in less than a day turned it into our favourite Metropolitan Vicars

On this day in 1951, we became the World's First Preserved Railway. 75 years ago a group of amateurs ran a train, it wasn't a very long train and it only went as far as Rhydyronen - but it became the starting line for the global heritage railway movement, kicking off the idea...

@TobysTramway I'd be interested in making a model of him in OO9 Gauge. I assume he's based on the Welshpool and Llanfair Beyer Peacocks?

I’ve had a few people ask me, figured I’d give an answer here. Yes, you can absolutely make your own Gruffydd customs/models/stories! He’s free range as far as I’m concerned, and if you do make anything with him, please tag/credit me! I’d love to see what you come up with!

@AndrewtheLNERA1 I previously use a Princess chassis and body and heavily customized it. I'm currently in the process of redoing the Cathedral with a King chassis

@GbHtrain Oh nice! Do you per chance have any advice/tips for making a cathedral in OO? Im aware it’s probably not the best project for a beginner like me, but if possible it would still be nice to know

Along with the pantograph, the bogies have arrived. After fitting the motor in between them and joining them up, they fit inside the EF1 body and chassis which is such a huge relief to me. Now to solder the wiring and cross fingers that it’ll run.

Exciting developments today. The first of the pantographs have arrived for my Peel Godred engine and they look so cool sitting atop the roof. I’ll need to cut off the moulded ones, but that can wait until after everything else is done.

"Thomas is a tank engine who lives at the big station. He has six small wheels, a short stumpy funnel, a short stumpy boiler and a short stumpy dome." Hapoy 81st Anniversary to the RWS. Here's a commissioned RWS Thomas in his teal livery to celebrate.
