Weekly Token + Narrative Watchlist 🔎 With TOTAL3 breaking out, there are lots of interesting altcoin setups to discuss! (it's a big watchlist this week). Starting with crypto gaming: $YGG: Yield Guild Games is set to host a summit from November 17th to 25th. Recently the market has been highly reactive to conferences and events. YGG's summit could act as a similar positive catalyst. We are already seeing solid momentum, but the conference is still a couple of weeks away so there may be room for a trade here. $GMT, $AXS, $PYR: Other gaming tokens are also catching a bid, but note it's not just any gaming related tokens - the sector leaders are performing the strongest. We know that once gaming gets going, it runs aggressively. We’re also starting to see some of the big names talking about gaming again - keeping a close eye. $ARB: Lots happening at Arbitrum at the moment. ARB eco incentives go live next week, with many of the top projects dishing out fresh initiatives. The Arbitrum staking proposal also passed earlier on today. And of course, EIP is still on the horizon as an underlying narrative. One thing I am noticing is that traders on the Binance leaderboards are starting to take some profits on their ARB positions. This is normal, however, and broader fundamental metrics are recovering and are looking solid. Ecosystem alts like $GMX and $PENLE are interesting plays too as they are direct beneficiares of the ecosystem fund. $XRP: Ripple’s Swell event begins November 8th, and XRP has just been slowly grinding up into the event. XRP was on my watchlist last week, and is up about 20% since then. However, it remains on the watchlist - as I’m watching for news to start to break surrounding Swell. I'm generally wary of shorting in this environment, but if news is released and there’s movement on price - I may look for a sell the news event. $AGIX & $FET: These are some of the leaders in the AI sector, and are up nicely from last week's watchlist. The OpenAI conference started today - and these tokens (truthfully) have little to do with OpenAI despite the pre-conference run. If no compelling news: also watching for a sell the news event. $INJ: Just continues to trend higher, with shorters repeatedly getting squeezed. Also - for people wondering “what is the next INJ?” - Injective is the next Injective. Let your winners ride, this is a trending market. $SOL: FTX continues to send tokens to exchanges, and price continues to not be affected. Either the market is telling you the “bearish overhang” thesis is invalidated, or there is enough buy pressure to outweigh the supply (the latter - in my opinion). Either way: SOL has proven a point here, and if we get any major dips, I’ll be adding. $STG + $RDNT: Rumours of an impending LayerZero airdrop are rampant, and the odds on Polymarket have increased after the receipt of their SSL license. Expecting news relatively soon. As for specific tokens that may be affected: STG has already run, and I expect it to continue, but RDNT is slightly lagging? Which is odd, as RNDT also fits the Arbitrum narrative (2 birds, 1 stone). I'm definitely keeping an eye on it: I hold a spot position, and it could also present a good opportunity for traders.
