Exagera de propósito, fala um absurdo, ironiza… E muitos japoneses respondem como se fosse sério. Em comparação com o Ocidente, o sarcasmo ocupa um espaço bem menor no humor japonês. A comunicação costuma ser mais literal, então esse tipo de piada simplesmente não “bate”. Acho que é por isso que séries americanas que são muito engraçadas como Two and half man, fresh prince, big bang theory, dentre outras, não fazem sucesso no Japão. Por exemplo: entre os brasileiros é comum dizer “vou te matar” quando se está bravo com a pessoa, mas sabemos que isso é apenas uma figura de linguagem. Até porque quando alguém vai matar o outro, geralmente não há anúncio. Se voce disser “vou te matar” em uma discussão ou briga no Japão, você pode ser processado por estar “ameaçando a vida de alguém”. O curioso é que acontece o contrário também. Muita gente no Ocidente adora as pegadinhas japonesas e o humor físico deles. Mas um estilo muito comum no Japão — especialmente o manzai — costuma soar exagerado, bonachão e até um pouco forçado para nós. Nenhum dos dois está “errado”. Cada cultura aprende a rir de coisas diferentes. Acho que boa parte das discussões entre japoneses e ocidentais no X nem é política. É gente levando ao pé da letra uma piada que, do outro lado do mundo, deveria ser obviamente uma piada. O mundo está se integrando, as barreiras linguísticas estão diminuindo. Há de se fazer um esforço para compreender melhor as culturas das pessoas com as quais você pretende interagir.

@Nick___Collins Completely a debate. Red cards come from plays that are RECKLESS, not completely accidental. His foot 100% came down accidentally on the other player’s foot. He wasn’t recklessly going after the ball. He lost his balance and his foot ended up there. Not a red.

Non soccer fans not understanding what is and isn't a card is always the most frustrating part of every World Cup cycle. It sucks for Balogun since it was clearly accidental, but it was definitely a red card.

The only advantage for gilgamesh is that his maps capabilities were buffed, different from ash that was nerfed in both submission and mdps, but saber comps are now dead even with him on the team

@SwordofIzanagi Honestly I think this V3 wasn’t as bad as Ashveil’s ngl. It just made them more balanced. They still got plenty of synergy with Saber and Archer anyway so I’m honestly okay Himeko got buffed insanely tho 😭

i admit it, archer is fucking horrible kit wise, if a character needs to spend 50+ sp to be good they’re not good at all, he’s a bot for sparkle and now rin, without them he is nothing

@TheHugeDude Never saw Topaz with eagle, why do you think it is necessary? Normally I just run the old FUA set, but idk if the action advance would bring much to the table (I might be just bad and in my comfort zone bc I have a god FUA set for her)

@Sugi_FFXIV @Ganyyuuu I wouldn't call it fun not in the slightest, like if you don't have elation or high eidolon teams it is really a pain to deal with, mainly bc you can't remove the stacks fast enough even FUA attacks from chars like feixiao where the fua happens right after the skill it count 1atk
