We hosted a thought-provoking symposium at @gcuniversitylhr, in partnership with @sunderlanduni
focusing on gender-inclusive policies and strategies for enhancing women's participation in employment. A special focus was placed on gender-related healthcare policies and introducing flexibilities to facilitate better women in the workforce.
I am grateful to Dr Shajara Ul Durar and all speakers and contributors who shared valuable insights on women's health, leadership, and empowerment.

Tomorrow, on 11th July 2023, we @gcuniversitylhr will inaugurate two new life sciences laboratories and the renovation of Stephenson Natural History Museum. Students and faculty are requested to gather in the Zoology department at 11am sharp if they would wish to attend the inauguration events. All Faculty members of life sciences must come to the Syndicate Meeting room at 10am for an exclusive meeting and chat with Dr Atta-Ur-Rahman.

~~ The Great Debate 2023 ~~
Universities are the centre for debates that change the world. Academia plays the most crucial role in generating discourse on socio-political issues and in empowering youth as informed, democratic citizens.
At GC University, @gcuniversitylhr we take this responsibility very seriously. As a prestigious university and the oldest higher education institution in Pakistan, we aim to foster a culture of intellectual exchange, harmony and tolerance by initiating "The Great Debate 2023".
#TheGreatDebate2023 aims to become a vehicle of democratisation, social awareness, and meaningful political change for the country.
In the first instance, #TheGreatDebate2023 will consist of four chapters, allowing for diverse perspectives and practical solutions to be explored. The first four chapters will cover four policy arenas.

Pakistan's National Economy: Identifying the Challenges and Solutions
CHAPTER 2
Pakistan's Foreign Policy in the context of evolving Geopolitical Landscape, mid-July 2023
CHAPTER 3
