@BrickCucumber @blauereiter it’s also rendered the same the vfx is rendered in a matching “flat” color space so it behaves the same as the actual footage when they’re being color graded after being comped over the footage

@GeNxYT @blauereiter Huh that's interesting. I didn't know you could re-export raw files in the raw format to grade. Or do you mean the VFX layer is also rendered the same so the same grading sliders can be copied onto it?

The unsung heroes of #VFX work; the on-set vfx wranglers charged with photographing the grey/chrome spheres/Macbeth chart, vital info for which we TDs cannot work without. ( In this video the cast is having a go at it and just having some silly fun )

@BrickCucumber @blauereiter correct, all vfx is done on raw/ungraded files so once CC/color grade is done, all colors move together in the same way, for both the footage and vfx elements

@blauereiter Can you explain the Macbeth chart? is that so VFX can be done to the raw ungraded file or some other reason?
