🏗️ A massive dragline excavator is being used to remove over 33 million cubic yards of dirt as part of the critical EAA Reservoir Project. This dragline (one of three of its size) is used in large civil engineering projects to move earth. 💧 It operates via a bucket suspended from a long boom by cables, pulling (dragging) the bucket toward the operator to scoop material, with capacities often reaching over 100 cubic yards. ⭐️ The EAA Reservoir Project is being accelerated because of the landmark agreement that was signed in July 2025 between the State of Florida and the federal government and we are using an all-hands-on-deck approach to complete construction by the end of 2029. 🤝 We will keep working together to "Build Infrastructure, Not Paperwork" to finish nationally significant work.
