This is another local farmers market in Korea. They are called farm-to-shelf stores. The local governments, [not the Korean national govt] fund and supervise them to stabilize incomes for elderly or small-family farms.

Our neighbourhood local food market. This particular store doesn't sell imported food items or agricultural produce harvested outside the city here. It's owned by the local farmers association.

@MrMekzy_ His size aside, who ever thought this was London in the first place?
English

How do people get this big??? Is it food? Is it genetics?? I’m genuinely curious.

“This is not London or VGC, this Aerodrome estate in Ibadan. In 2012, land here was sold for 3.5 million and today it’s 170 million Naira”

@GedaElemi @UnilagNigeria Amen 🙏
But I won’t lie, it wasn’t easy at all because I had every reason NOT to go to the lagoon water front that very day
English

@Austeiin @UnilagNigeria That's where the challenge usually is – in taking the step. God help us
English

As early as 6:00am on July 1st, 2026, I had this strong urge to go to my usual prayer spot at the Lagoon Waterfront in @UnilagNigeria
By 8:00am, the feeling became even stronger. I told God, “Baba God, you know I’m supposed to be at work. I promise I’ll go once I’m done for the day.”
Then by 4:00pm, the urge came again. This time, I didn’t hesitate. I packed my bag and headed straight to UNILAG.
By the time I got there, I was exhausted and very hungry. So I stopped at @item7go_ to grab a shawarma, fresh yogurt, and a bottle of water. I figured I needed some strength before praying.
As soon as I finished eating, a security officer of the school walked up to me and asked what I was doing alone by the waterfront.
I told him I usually come there to spend time with God through prayers and worship.
Before I could even finish talking, he said: “If you don’t mind… please pray for me.”
My mind fess cut for 30 seconds. 😂 I even asked him to repeat himself.
Baba oni baba simply said, “Please pray for me.”
So I held his hands and began to pray.
What happened next still amazes me.
Before God and man, I honestly cannot remember anything I prayed about. The moment I said, “Let’s pray,” it was as though I completely zoned out. The next thing I remember was saying, “Thank You, Jesus, for answering our prayers.”
As he was leaving, he kept thanking me and said every single thing I prayed about was exactly what had been weighing heavily on his heart.
Then, just as he turned to leave, I felt a strong nudge in my spirit to give him something.
I reached into my pocket, brought out ₦5,000, handed it to him, and simply said: “The Holy Spirit asked me to give you this.”
The man immediately broke down in tears right in front of me.
That was the moment it all made sense.
God wasn’t calling me to that place because of me.
He wanted me there because someone was waiting for an answer to his prayer.
Sometimes, when God keeps nudging you to go somewhere or do something, it may not even be about you.
You might just be the answer to someone else’s prayer.
Hallelujah 🙌

@ani_danielson Snap back to reality

Last night my wife was looking for her phone and asked me to call it for her.
Unfortunately for her, the phone was on the same bed I was laying on😌😌
I picked it up to hand it over and that’s when I saw my contact name.
This woman saved my number as “Stress” with a picture of me proudly holding her bank card🥲🥲
I laughed so hard because after all the love, cuddles, and “I miss you” every five minutes, this is apparently my official title in her life.
Stress. 😓😓 we will see how she will survive the stress going forward
