Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is the perfect game for Halloween. The game has an ethereal quality, inspired by Norse mythology and Celtic culture. The unsettling sound design evokes Senua's auditory hallucinations and creates an immersive experience like no other.

Just heard that Lilly Wachowski will direct the cinematic adaptation of Gretchen Felker-Martin's Manhunt. The novel follows Beth and Fran as they "Hunt feral, testosterone-fuelled men and murderous TERFs in the post-apocalyptic wasteland of New England." That sounds amazing!

We are loving the gothic noir aesthetic to the Shiver roleplaying game by @GamesParable. It uses an intuitive and flexible rules system that enables stories to be told in a variety of settings and genres.

Our next Halloween read is the chilling graphic novel Revival, by Tim Seeley and Mike Norton. It's a rural noir with a simple premise; what if, for one day in rural central Wisconsin, the dead came back to life.  It is a delightfully twisted story filled with great characters.
