@Gandalf_LFC Except Gerrard didn;t dominate Maldini and Pirlo at all. I actually watched the whole game back about two months ago, and Milan played us off the park. We got lucky, and apart from that 7-minute spell we were 2nd best throughout the game. I just say it as it is.

Since November I’ve been calling for change of manager as was clear after being lucky in first 5 wins in league , we were not playing well and hadn’t been for a long time . After those 5 games we have been 11th best in the league in form table ,Slot must be gone this week

Knew we had serious issues with Slot when, instead of planning next season, he was partying in Ibiza before PL even finished. Imagine Alex Ferguson —the most successful PL manager ever—in a DJ booth celebrating the title before season end. Guarantee you players definitely weren't impressed. It's not complicated and it's got nothing to do with style of football, nobody wants to see big teams who haven't won anything in a while break their duck. It's standard fan stuff. Almost no champions or challengers are ever actually loved by the 'neutral' because there is no such thing as a 'neutral.' People don't mind City winning the league because it's very easy to compartmentalise and they don't have a big fanbase so people just don't encounter many City fans online and in day to day life. All this stuff about 'style' is utter nonsense.

I've been saying it since the summer: ARSENAL ARE WINNING THE LEAGUE AND CHAMPIONS LEAGUE THIS SEASON. And if they do, Arteta will surpass Klopp's legacy. Fact.

@SamaHoole It's that stability that makes it definitely NOT the best piece of equipment in the gym. If we're talking best = most effective, then a set of dumbbells simply cannot be beaten. It's the ultimate fat loss / muscle-building tool.

Hot take: the Smith machine is the best piece of hypertrophy equipment in most gyms. The weight is fixed in a plane. The built-in stability allows you to reach higher levels of tension. The setup takes twelve seconds. You can load it aggressively without a spotter. You can adjust your foot position, grip width, or stance without rebuilding your entire relationship with balance. Every argument against the Smith machine is an argument in favour of using cognitive resources that could be spent generating tension to instead manage a barbell that is trying to go somewhere it shouldn't. "It's not functional." Neither is having a back that doesn't hurt. Neither is building a chest that actually responds to training. Neither is adding 40 kilograms to your squat over eighteen months in a controlled, repeatable arc. The Smith machine doesn't care about your sporting reputation. It just lets you train harder, safer, and heavier. Which is, unfortunately for its critics, exactly what you're there to do.
