I like that as the story went on we got more context for most everything. Like "oh Bepo is a mink! That makes sense." But after 1000 chapters this is still just an otter riding a vulture with a machine gun.

What goty (realistically)

@Mythallica Less of a gear 5 issue and more of general tension problem in onigashima, which I maintain is one of the weakest sections of the story from a writing stand point.

Man imma be honest, as a rabid One Piece fan, these Gear 5 Episodes ain’t really doing it for me. The animation is great as expected but im just not feeling the impact. And I think it’s because of the nature of Gear 5 itself. It’s taken away the weight of the stakes at large.
