There are also grave concerns regarding the following: •Continuous military actions being carried out against communities that were previously living peacefully •Failure to adequately confront the Al-Shabaab group, while priority has been given to political disputes and internal conflicts •Misappropriation or misuse of projects intended for vulnerable communities and social development •Squandering of international financial support and assistance intended for the recovery and reconstruction of Somalia, including previously peaceful regions All of these issues pose a direct threat to national unity, social cohesion, and the future of the Federal Republic of Somalia.
