I was just reviewing some of the intro lectures and I noticed that I pronounced LED as lead (like the Pb element). I don't think I've ever heard anyone say it like that other than Brazilians. 😐 Oh, well.

David Fincher’s Alien³ (1992) is messy, compromised, and still strangely powerful. Even Christopher Nolan has said he’s a fan of the film, praising its ambition & bleak conviction despite the chaos around it. Flawed but it swings hard.

The Apple Macintosh was named after the McIntosh, a variety of apple from Canada. Jef Raskin (who initiated the Macintosh project), chose the name because he liked the fruit and it fit Apple's branding. The spelling was changed to Macintosh to avoid trademark conflict.

The most recurrent email I get is: "Where do I start?", and I never had a good answer to it, since there's no order & all modules are self-contained. But now, I'm almost sure the digital electronics module is the best start! Coding 6502 or MIPS clicks *so* much more after it. ❤️
