So, Tekken 8 season 3 has come out and basically set in motion an Armageddon event within the core base (undoubtedly made worse by the discord/feedback form and the horrendous calls to buff characters from players), but out of everything that has happened during this debacle, there's one thing that has really stood out to me; What is it with people from other scenes trying to shame Tekken players for not trying their favourite fighting game? Its the weirdest shit i've seen in this whole mess. This weird obsession to tell Tekken players to go and play other games seems to be all that people from other scenes are tweeting about and my question is why? What is it to you what a Tekken player does with their time and energy? Does it bother you to see them not try other fighting games? This isn't one person either so please don't feel like I am singling anybody out. This is multiple accounts. -Tekken players wanna go down with their ship... So? - Tekken players feel like they won't get a Tekken like experience anywhere else so they'd rather just deal with the mess that is 8... And? - Tekken players don't feel like another experience is worth their time... And?? - Tekken players think that Tekken is levels above everything... Cool? - Tekken players think their IQ is too high to play anything else... Maybe it is if this is how you spend your time. Why do you care so much? Don't get me wrong; the tweets of people trying to be welcoming are fine, but some of you have this weird NEED to tell people that "you told them so". You also have people in comments sections of videos genuinely angry that people still want to try to save the game lol. These people are genuinely bothered that Mattyboi637 is still playing Tekken 8 and not VF5 and they'll give every reason under the Sun why that person is stupid and their favourite fighting game is superior. I am a big advocate for Bleach Rebirth of Souls, but I'd be lying if I said I haven't received comment after comment of people saying, "why you still playing that?".. "Go play My Hero".. "Go play Demon Slayer". How about go and do one? The Bleach community think its in an awful state, but I don't see how it was any different to a few months ago and I'm enjoying myself away from people's opinions (which seems to be impossible for some people on here). Not once have I gone to another YouTubers video and demanded they stop playing a certain game and play my favourite one. Your games also got KBD? Thats amazing. Nobody cares. Yes, some Tekken players are going to move away from the game but A LOT of them aren't going anywhere. Understand that. Accept that. Digest that. Move on. They're gonna bitch and moan to the Tekken Team (don't worry, i'll be right there with them) until they turn blue in the face and if you don't like that, just mute the word Tekken. Simple as. If you find it insufferable, its only because you're obsessed with constantly reading every post about the current situation. Civil discourse is fine but some of you turn rabid because Clarkson772 just logged in to play ranked. They don't want to play your favourite game and they probably never will. Get over it.
