Although out of my price range, support these guys if you can. The KBOX from @GekkoScienceLLC looks & performs amazingly! Maybe @TheSoloMiningCo even had something to do with it too. (wouldn't be the first time, these 2 are always working together) 🤣

Telling Sidehack about the love we’re getting for Kbox on here. He wants to make sure everyone gets the credit they deserve for the finished product. He builds rock-solid stuff, but the man is no design artist. In his own words:

The factory modes range from 165-330, and of course the custom modes can be set throughout that range. But that’s what really makes it the single best home miner, anyone can run it. I love my modded Lux Antminers, but these can get very expensive to run especially for guys in high cost-per-kwh areas.

Kbox RGB madness. Sorry guys, I’m not gonna be able to shut up about this thing for a couple of days. It’s amazing.

What’s remarkable about the Kbox besides the build quality, the built-in protections, and the hashrate that fills a range previously unoccupied is the efficiency. It’s comparable to an S21 XP running aftermarket firmware. But the @GekkoScienceLLC team managed to figure this out without some big team or huge R&D budget. It’s actual wizardry. The thing Matt said that stood out the most in our entire two-hour conversation was simply “it’s the best thing I’ve ever made.” It truly is.

Straight outta the box — the Kbox. Notice the LAN port, notice the PSU (probably not because it has a built-in Meanwell), notice the gigantic heatsink which translates directly into quiet operation? @Mark_2_Thinking @YanSilicon The name is a handy ‘coincidence’ for someone. 30TH from 450W is terrible efficiency. A new generation of chips shouldn’t have worse efficiency unless they’re being overclocked so far that they’re also looking at a shorter lifespan.

@IvFisk The 1370 chips like to run in the 60°C range. We’ve noticed a higher sustained hashrate around 65°C than higher or lower temps. We have a fan routine in place that seeks to keep temps below 70°C.
