🌿Our #EUproject @Gen4Olive has come to a close after 5 years of joint work to strengthen olive breeding innovation in Europe. 🫒 🟡CTA led the two SME calls, supporting over 20 projects and fostering knowledge transfer between science and business. 👥With 16 partners from 7 countries (Spain🇪🇸, France🇫🇷, Italy🇮🇹, Germany🇩🇪, Greece🇬🇷, Turkey🇹🇷 and Morocco🇲🇦), the project built a strong network connecting gene banks, research centres, SMEs and end users. 🔬 This european project has improved access to olive genetic resources and paved the way for a more competitive, sustainable and resilient sector. 🤝 We are proud to have been part of this journey and look forward to collaborating with our partners in future initiatives. #H2020 #AgriInnovation #OliveBreeding
