Convened by Anais Menard, the panel 'A gendered approach to capital-building' examines women’s experiences of migration within the West African region by looking into strategies for building individual and collective capital at the grassroots level.

Convened by Margherita Odasso, the panel 'Gender and sexuality in migration & reception' explores transgender healthcare in EU, negotiations of marriage migration in South Korea, reproductive injustice in Swiss migration policy, & media portrayals of refugees in Netherlands.

Keep an eye out for these individual panels, which will explore the conceptual and methodological innovations occurring in migration research through the lens of gender and sexuality at #Imiscoe2025.
