I'm been sleep walking since I was a child. I woke up on my porch this morning. Anyone have any suggestions on locking myself in at night?

@RobinHoodlum It kinda is. I've given to work before. I put my couch in front of the door before I go to sleep. I'm on the first floor so I can hop out a window if there's a fire. I'm just afraid of attacking someone while sleep walking. I do everything to keep myself inside while I'm asleep.

@RobinHoodlum Yes, I've tried that, I've tried a ton of different things, and I still wake up outside sometimes. Or in my roommates room. The only thing that seems to work is Klonopin, Xanax, and ativan. I only sleep walk when I'm stressed out. Those meds relax my anxiety and let me sleep.

@GenX_too That would be extremely dangerous in the event of a fire. Have you considered a door alarm? It emits an incredibly loud noise when a door is opened. It would probably wake you up.
