The rare American Woodcock is plump, soft and rhythmic, and has become New York City's newest avian star.
Bryant Park does birding tours, but the Woodcock needs no help attracting a crowd.
It's become so popular, the park actually sells baseball caps with the fan favorite stitched onto them.
"The bird brings New Yorkers together. We need so much more of that," said spectator Talisa Shevavesh.
Spectators are enjoying their new neighbor, who in true New York spirit, marched to the beat of his own drum.

@sherwudforest That's some really cool analysis here. Thank you for sharing! I'm going to revisit this one soon and pay extra attention to the vocal jam. This was my first ever YEM! Trey had a pretty good guitar solo in there too from what I remember.

@GeneWexler also i just relistened to that set 2 and let me say, really nice vocal jam on that YEM. Some doppler effect stuff like at SPAC but more lowkey, Fish brings in a little bit of yodeling. but crucially Trey’s found something to do other than drop into beatboxing

@sherwudforest Thanks for your answer! Great analysis. I completely agree. Drowned was the main highlight of Darien, and RNR was one of them from SPAC too. SPAC was also the last Highway to Hell of 3.0!

You know what really bugs me these days? We can't own anything. Everything is a subscription service, like literally everything. You can't buy Microsoft Office, you have to purchase a subscription for a year. You literally have to pay for everything FOREVER. Isn't anyone else bothered by this?
