Dearest Martha, A large squid creature attacked Fort Nationwide this afternoon. No match for our volleys as five were sent into the beast repelling it. Quite the series of victories. Yours, Rick

Dearest Martha, The New Yorkers attacked Fort Nationwide this fine evening. We are riding a wave of victory and this battle was no different. Six volleys is quite a number and yet another glorious victory for the Union. Yours, Rick

Dearest Martha, We valiantly marched on the city with brother love. No clue why they call it that no love was shown and the battle was ground to a stalemate. Excellent masonry of Sgt. Greaves and a final brave bayonet charge by Sgt. Marchenko sealed our victory. Yours, Rick

Dearest Martha, The swamp kitties are quite the evil foe. Never has an alcohol cabinet been in more danger than the swamps of Florida. The men did send volleys but they were repelled by a former engineer of ours. Dubious call by the black and white brigade as well. Yours, Rick

Dearest Martha, We travelled to the land of lightning tonight. A thrashing occurred with us sending many volleys. Most notably Pvt. Garland has proved his worth along with excellent masonry from Sgt. Merzlikins. The men needed this victory badly. Yours, Rick

Dearest Martha, Royals have attacked Fort Nationwide this afternoon. Even with strong volleys particularly with the new recruit Pvt. Garland, the enemy was able to send them as well. A certain soldier is suspected of treason which many have pointed out. Dire. Yours, Rick

Dearest Martha, A disturbing and grotesque foe entered our Fort this evening. I won’t speak of how it ended but the men fought a bitter hand to hand fight with this unsavory enemy. Proud of my men for not giving up the fight when it got tough. Yours, Rick

Dearest Martha, Just as expected the swamp kitties attacked. Once again it looked to be a dominant win but our defense against counterattacks leaves much to be desired. Luckily Sgt. Greaves is an excellent engineer and a final volley from PFC Olivier sealed victory. Yours, Rick

Dearest Martha, Cats with large teeth attempted an attack on Fort Nationwide. Even after being disoriented by cannon blasts, Sgt. Greaves returned and crafted strong redoubts. Sgt. Coyle turned out to be the hero with the final volley on the enemy. Glorious. Yours, Rick

Dearest Martha, Tonight we did battle in the large apple. A strong start to our battle with many volleys but a late counterattack by the enemy brought us to the brink of defeat. Sgt. Marchenko led a heroic bayonet charge to stifle this assault. A Much needed victory. Yours, Rick

Dearest Genevieve, We ventured east to attack bears in their territory. Disastrous really, they had very strong redoubts that repulsed most of our volleys. I blame the long hiatus for ruining our battle win streak. Yours, Rick
