I estimate how much time this project will take and multiply the number of hours with my per hour rate. Also additionally I multiply the total sum by the coefficient in which the time for edits and communication is set ( usually 1.2 - 1.3 ).

I focus on using a value pricing model, so I’m asking: How much is this worth to my client? Then basing my price around that. I strive to maintain an “effective hourly rate” above $125 for my consulting work. It’s usually $125-200.
