Howard, Simon & Lee had a total of 32 Carp from low 20’s to mid 40’s. Their comments: “Great place. Great holiday. Great fishing. Fantastic evening meals cooked by Heather who is a fantastic cook. Coming back soon.”

4th Sept: Although the high temperatures of last week made for great relaxing sunbathing weather it did slow the fishing down a bit but Dave & Pete still enjoyed their week, they said “ It was fantastic to return after 2 years. As always Heather & Larry were superb hosts”

21st Aug Andy, Brian, Mick & Matt on their annual fishing holiday & wow did the fishing keep them busy with a record week of 62 Carp caught which included 9 x 40’s. The total weight was 1,088LBs. All were caught using HNV Carp Baits Krillz & Envy boilies, some also on maize.

Delighted our first anglers of our 2021 season Roy & Paul had 37 Carp up to 45lb 12oz. Their fishing tactics were in their words “Keep it simple but keep bait going in. Hungry water which responds to a fresh cast + bait”. Well done guys, was a pleasure meeting you 🙂

31st Aug. Phil & James Anderson had 31 Carp with a 51lb 8oz PB for Phil. "Another brilliant trip to Genets. The lake is a beautiful place to spend a week. Not our first trip to Genets & it won’t be our last. The fishing was good despite some surprisingly cold evenings"

24th Aug: Andy, Brian, Mick & Matthew on their annual fishing trip to Genets had 32 Carp to 44lb 4oz. "Another great year at Genets! The weather was very hot which didn’t help the fishing but it did help the beer numbers! Looking forward to catching the big one next year!"

17th to 24th Aug: Steve, Graham & Mark’s tactics were to feed little & often & single hook-baits. 33 Carp with new PB’s for Steve & Graham Their comments: Fantastic time again, Larry & Heather really do make your stay & fishing here just perfect. See you soon,

10th to 17th Aug: With the lake to himself Toby planned to move around & worked hard to cover as much water as possible, it definitely paid off for him with 21 Carp caught. "Another fantastic week, great hosts, Great venue, hope to return one day soon!"

The Hippo loved Darren’s bait so much it decided to put in an appearance twice this week, the first time on Sunday weighing in at a staggering 70lb 3oz a new PB for Darren then Wednesday at 69lb 8 Brother Dave also had a new PB of a 48lb 4oz Mirror. genetscarpfishing.com/testimonials

18th to 25th May: Adam & Jim fished bottom baits & wafters, they had 9 x 20lb, 3 x 30lb, 1 x 40lb, 1 x 50lb. Their comments: Amazing place, food amazing. Been coming for years, wouldn’t go anywhere else, be back 2020 & 2021. Larry & Heather can’t do enough for you.
