I think the reason this rubs so many people wrong is because especially on the left a lot of y'all are used to being morally superior to the average person jyst for believing in the right stuff and this points out a behavioural moral flaw that threatens that superiority complex

@_rum_pumpumpum i had meant to say seal hunting, which is very important to inuit people. as someone who grew up learning about indigenous cultures and practices i am of the opinion that they probably love and respect animals more than most vegans who hold this opinion

It’s one thing to have never questioned it—but if you’re presented with veganism as a woke person and you say “we’ve eaten since forever” or “the problem isn’t meat consumption it’s capitalism” then you aren’t **actually** against oppression.
