interesting read for hybe’s 2026 goal coming from their own exec. below are my own understanding, practice reading and making deductions and opinions of your own. in the process please do not hurt the members! ① verifying viability of new IP = checking the ability of new IP (idols are traditionally treated as company’s IP): 엔하 to survive as 6 and 희 as soloist ② establishing sustainability of IP (using innovations we haven’t tried) = making stable revenue streams from something that wasn’t tried before (removing a member at their peak and continuing to retain said member as soloist). lowering group value by breaking the “7” brand is much more sustainable to a company that cannot afford to resign a whole group at their peak ③ new business model based on scarcity = they have now created a system where fans feel they won’t be able to enjoy much related to their idol in the future due to instability. hybe have already started this pursuit by controlling idol exposure, limiting access to content and prioritizing restricted experience (fancalls & fansign) instead of music promotion(s) and k-media exposure ④ securing leadership in AI-based prosumer market = they have already started offering paid access to real-time subs for lives (powered by AI). as fans are both producer + consumer ‘prosumer’ of AI company will probably make ways on how fans can easily use AI to promote the company’s IP (idols) ⑤ implementing true global governance = this is their one true goal, not only governance to their idols but their fanbase as well article source: musicbusinessworldwide.com/as-k-pop-super…
