And for consistency: the Qur’an and Islamic tradition also contradict and reject core Christian doctrines (Trinity, the cross, the Son of God). So it’s not “only you insult.” 3) “Muslims respect Jesus” — but they reduce Him In Islam, Jesus is a human prophet, a “servant,” not the incarnate Lord. That doesn’t honor Jesus; it denies Him. It’s like saying, “I respect the king… but I deny he’s a king.” 4) No, we’re not the same — for a deeper reason Correct: we’re not the same, because: Christianity centers on who Jesus truly is and what He accomplished in the cross and resurrection. Islam presents another Jesus and another message of salvation. You can say “we respect Jesus,” but if you deny His identity and His work, you’re not respecting the real Jesus—you’re honoring a reconstructed version.
