Apparently, some people love counting your money. I started posting my gains to show what’s possible in trading for those who are motivated. Seeing the toxicity on Twitter and from some traders (& non-traders), I won’t be posting my gains until I reach “super f*** you” money. It’s safe to say you can make a professional’s yearly salary—engineer, doctor, or lawyer—in a single trading session if you truly master the chart, yourself, and your emotions. It also hit me that I had multiple six-figure days last week—more than my starting salary as a software engineer from a top-tier university years ago.

@I_Am_The_ICT Why not measure London high and low and draw a measured move as shown below? The Asia range seems to be useless these days.

@I_Am_The_ICT Welcome back, Michael! Missed the live stream. Could you please do a series of lectures on time so I can optimize my chart? Nice ride from 8:30 fvg to yesterday 9:31 am fvg.

@I_Am_The_ICT Good entry. The exit could be improved. Next support was yesterday am fpfvg

Can you give a lecture focused only on time for the next few months or so? I noticed that yesterday’s and today’s PM PFVG acted as support. What other confluences did you use for the entry, considering the PM session didn’t sweep the lunch low and the EQHs are sitting on the AM PFVG (major resistance)? It was 50/50 if you ask me, but you nailed it.

When I spend time away from markets, I lose a sense of connection or rhythm with it. So I start with simple drills to place my attention on things that tend to deliver. Not overcomplicating matters or insist my observations be accurate. It is more about alignment, calibration of myself with Price, not technical analysis, in and of itself. Sometimes it takes only a day to get back in the saddle, never more than 3 days.

@I_Am_The_ICT Want to catch up to your rhythm. Use this: the 5 RTH-ORG acted as support, leading to a measured move up.

@I_Am_The_ICT Study time: I can see why you called 9:48. Notice how price later bounced off the 05/12 NDOG and could not stay outside the 05/13 RTH-ORG low. When in doubt, just call it the event horizon, and no one will question it :)

@I_Am_The_ICT One possible reason: wicked and failed to close above 05/13 RTH-ORG, MSS in 1 minute, and smooth DL. I thought it would at least touch the low of 05/10 NWOG, but it didn't.

@I_Am_The_ICT My RTH-ORG standard division doesn't touch 8 measured moves. Am I missing something? Or you're off by a bit since you marked the high of the 4.14 candle.

NQ — 2026-05-05 ================ [09:30 PRE-OPEN READ] Prior PM (13:30-17:00, Mon 5/04): - After the AM down-leg below Friday's 9:31 FVG, PM staged a partial recovery — closed at PD_C ~27,790 in the lower-middle of the range. The bulk of the rally back came overnight. Re-open (Mon 18:00-19:00): - Held the close, drifted sideways into Asia. Asia (19:00-00:00): - Extended the recovery cleanly higher; Asia.H and midnight (0:00) printed in the upper portion of the overnight, well above PD_C. London (02:00-05:00): - Marginal new high (London.H above Asia.H), then faded off the highs. London.L stayed in the upper-middle — Asia.L not taken. Pre-market (05:00-09:30): - Resumed UP and pressed back into the Asia.H / London.H cluster. Pre-market dealing range (08:10-09:10): - Tight, capped at the overnight cluster, low above broader pre-market low. 9:30 Open snapshot: - Open position in dealing range: TOP, just under Asia.H / London.H. - 9:10-9:30: nonswept either side. - 50% of dealing range: well below open. - RTH-ORG Gap: LARGE, UP — open ~28,000 vs PD_C ~27,790, ~210 pts. - Open relative to named levels: - just below Asia.H / London.H (immediate overhead) - well above midnight 0:00 (gap-fill pullback magnet) - well above PD_C (gap-fill draw) - well above Asia.L / London.L (deep downside floors) Open setup / bias: - Overnight extended yesterday's PM recovery; open perched at the overnight highs with the dealing range HIGH untouched. Bias: 9:30 sweeps the dealing range HIGH and the overnight cluster, then drives into clear air above (W_H / D_H / fresh highs). - Failure: rejection at the cluster, fade back through the dealing range midpoint to gap-fill draws (PD_C / midnight / RTH-ORG). Midpoint is the decision gate. - LARGE gap-up: 50% touch in first 30 min is the base case; stall above 75% is the trend-day tell. [16:00 EOD REVIEW] AM (09:30-11:00): - 9:30 opened ~28,000, immediately dipped into the gap to ORL / am.L ~27,975 — early gap-fill liquidity grab. - Reversed off ORL, printed ORH ~28,125 by 10:00, continued to am.H ~28,150. Dealing range grade: swept HIGH at the open, continued UP — no return to the dealing range LOW. Lunch (11:30-13:30): - Pulled back off am.H into a range above ORH (Lunch.L 28,080 / Lunch.H 28,180). Lunch.L held above the 0.5 OR midpoint (~28,050) — midpoint as structural support. PM (13:30-16:00): - Early dip to pm.L 28,115 stopped above Lunch.L (Lunch range LOW preserved). Reversed UP, extended above Lunch.H to pm.H / D_H ~28,250, closed 28,207. Lunch range grade: swept HIGH, continued UP. Lunch.L unswept. 30-min OR (09:30-10:00): - ORH 28,125 / ORL 27,975 / range 150 pts. - D_H ≈ ORH + 0.83x OR (just short of 1x); ORL = day's LOW. - 0.5 midpoint (~28,050): held as support through Lunch. - Close = ORH + 0.55x OR. RTH-ORG fill outcome: - LARGE gap PRESERVED through the close. Early dip to ORL only touched the upper edge of the gap zone — never filled. Asia level draws hit during NY: - Asia.H / London.H / midnight / W_H all sat inside the gap zone, none retested in NY (early dip stopped at ORL, well above them). Read (liquidity-engineering thesis): - Trend day up. Overnight recovery from yesterday's deep AM flush perched price at the overnight cluster; 9:30 took it on the bell, ran one gap-fill dip to ORL as the early liquidity grab, then trended cleanly through AM and PM. - Shallow pullbacks: 0.5 OR midpoint held, Lunch.L preserved. PM extended near 1x OR above ORH and closed in the upper portion of the day. - LARGE gap up never filled — the recovery extension dominated; gap-fill mechanics secondary.
