@Jennnnnn_x 3yo -> 4yo ongoing! This is my boy! Fine once he’s there (as far as I can tell!) and soooo much happier to go to school than nursery, but still always would rather be home. It’s heart wrenching. Hugs.

Anyone got any experience with a 3yo who seems to struggle with mum not being there, every day he will try not to go to school (nursery) and cries over and over asking for me, saying he misses me, he does the same at breakfast club/after school club... seems okay once in sch 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Mat_at_Brookes I wonder how much of this is a consequence of programs like Accelerated Reader? I fear this pushes a mentality of competitive points scoring over building a genuine love of reading, children focusing on a quiz & moving on instead of getting engrossed in a book. @Literacy_Trust

The current national curriculum is ten years old. In that time, teachers, leaders, children, parents, employers and many others have had a chance to gauge the WWW and EBIs. Please share your wisdom and advice in the call for evidence. consult.education.gov.uk/curriculum-and…

I met a man on an internet dating site. During our pre-meet chat, I said that I had just been on BBC Radio 2 talking abt the Jurassic Coast to Liza Tarbuck. He listened to the piece with his 2 young boys. We got married last year 🥰

This. This was the shot I was hoping to get of Comet Atlas, with me standing on the stones of the Giant's Causeway. And last night I got the chance. The comet is fading fast, so I'm not sure I'd have had many other chances. Delighted this one worked out!

@Teacherglitter Love this. So glad she is in a better place now. Wish there was more space for compassion in secondary schools now.

Final thought tonight. My child’s mental health means more to me than exams. I never thought we would be in the position where she sat ANY GCSE and here she is, expected to get 4s & 5s in most. Focus on love. Support. Wellbeing. The rest will come if your child is happy.

Not having a great headspace day today so working my way through some overdue work admin. Absolutely dreading tomorrow - driving down to Suffolk for the 1st anniversary of mum's death. It's going to be very intense and dad is very low. I just want a pjs and TV weekend :o(

@grego_geog @Jennnnnn_x Ahh wouldn’t it be amazing if it could get back to this place? I mean there were still a few heated debates (almost cathartic), but the resource sharing was beautiful!

We are devastated to say that our beautiful Isabelle died in the early hours of this morning. We are absolutely broken. However, we want you all not to think of her death, but to honour her by living life as she did: fearlessly, joyously & spontaneously.
