One of the comments I have been getting *a lot* on my videos (the vast majority are well intentioned) is: “Why don’t Sudanese do the same kind of coverage that Palestinians do of their struggle?” And…. well intentioned as it may be… it is very frustrating.

@bibibivalve Ugh. I've encountered the same stuff, and it's exhausting. Which I think is the purpose: to tire us into being quiet and/or going away. I hope that having convos w similarly minded people has helped, but I also know it's not a full shield. Can't wait to chat at SACNAS! 💕

Meet up with some early career/student leaders in justice and equity and the geosciences for lunch. I feel so rejuvenated. I was reminded of what I do this for, and that I’m not alone. So excited for what the future holds with these colleagues/friends.
